New Sermon Series in April: Church Made Simple In our culture, church can become such a complex way of life that it involves a coordinated effort to accomplish all the expectations set out by its leadership. But why? In our new sermon series, Pastor Kenneth will break down in a clear and easy-to-understand way the history, the function, and the future of the church into simple lessons so we will be able to appreciate and comprehend the ways in which we should love, support, and serve the bride of Christ. We hope to see you there in April!
Early churches met in homes. We have small groups that meet like the early church, where we can have a closer relationship with our members. If you are interested in joining one of our small groups, then please reach out. Or if you are interested in starting a small group, then you can start as an apprentice under another leader. Event Info: Small Group When: Ongoing Where: Our homes Time: TBD each week via E-mail
Commissioned has begun to develop an arts collective, where small groups of artists can connect, design, and share creative ideas together. From time to time, we will display and even sell our pieces at various shows and events. We have participated in various art shows and community events. If you would like to be involved with this creative experience, then please email us at: email@example.com
Stay tuned. Last Easter we had a live art painting during worship. The artists had a big challenge, but the Lord really blessed us through it.
Please be in prayer for our church we have partnered with in Belize. We have been sending a mission team to Chan Pine Ridge, Belize for 5 years now. Our friends and brothers and sisters in Christ have an ongoing need for building projects, and just loving the kids and people of the area. Over the last few years, God has used our mission teams to construct and paint buildings, conduct Bible schools, and spread the Good News amongst the wonderful people of Belize. Pray that the Lord will bless the next trip and much will be accomplished for His Kingdom. If you are interested in going with us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or attend one of our interest meetings.
You can see highlights from two of our previous years' trips here, here, and here.

At Commissioned we do not baptize until the child has accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Then the child will show interest in sharing his/her salvation publicly by getting baptized being obedient to God's command. We do not believe that baptism equals salvation. It is simply a public symbol of your dedication to the Lord Jesus. We dedicate our children to the Lord as parents. This is a public declaration that our children are God's children and we as parents are committing to raising them according to God's Word.
Please message us if you would like to publicly dedicate your child to the Lord.
Baptism is a symbol of your dedication to the Lord Jesus. It's a symbol of the old being washed away in the blood of Christ and the new heart has come through salvation. You will profess your love and service to God vocally to the church, and Pastor Kenneth will baptize you with water. You will be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. If you have interested in getting baptized at Commissioned, then please click below for more information.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
Baptism does not bring salvation to a believer. It is simply a symbol of your commitment and love for Christ. We baptize out of obedience.
The Great Commission Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19
